IDA Development and Barnwalkers to Open Showroom in the Heart of Wellington

WELLINGTON – IDA Development, the industry leader in equestrian services, is opening a 3,000-square-foot showroom later this spring in the Wellington Marketplace, adjacent to Rocky’s Ace Hardware.

The equestrian facility design center will showcase the premier products of both IDA and Barnwalkers.

“It’s a convenient, life-sized brochure,” said IDA Development owner Harry Knopp. “This store is ideally located to suit the needs of the farm owner and competitive rider who is based in Wellington either for the winter season or all year round.”

IDA Development, along with Barnwalkers, have become the go-to companies with an unmatched portfolio of equestrian services and products.

One of IDA’s most popular products is their renowned Equitan Multipurpose rubber flooring system that offers a safe, seamless, non-slip surface that is attractive, comfortable, and easy to maintain, making it the ideal solution for horse stalls, trailer floors, walkers, wash stalls, walkways, barn aisles and more.

IDA Development is also focusing on building prefabricated steel horse barns, buildings and covered riding arenas designed to the clients’ specifications and built in virtually any dimension. A steel riding arena is the modern solution for covered riding arenas, because of the strength and efficiency steel offers. The barns and buildings are also engineered to withstand all weather conditions. IDA can install all their steel products anywhere in the country.

IDA Development built its sterling reputation on creating custom arenas, whether it’s an all-weather outdoor arena, a covered arena, or a mirrored arena. They also offer clients state-of-the-art irrigation and drainage systems with the latest technology that moves water evenly so it saves water when irrigating and drains quickly when flooded. This type of technology keeps footing consistent to reduce injury. They also build derby fields and hydroponics derby fields.

Barnwalkers features high-quality stalls and walkers as well as visually appealing, safe, and horse-friendly wooden fencing. They also offer numerous options for windows, doors and accessories.

“Opening a showroom in Wellington allows us to better serve our clients and to have our whole team all in one location,” said Knopp. “I believe this will help the growth of both companies.”

During the off season, the showroom will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m-6 p.m. and by appointment on Saturday and Sunday. The showroom will be open on Saturdays during the winter equestrian season.

The store is located at 13833 Wellington Trace, Suite E-1 and E-2 in Wellington.
