Wellington International Private Photography Accreditation

Thank you for your interest in private photography credentials at Wellington International. The application window is now open for both the 2023 Annual Series and 2024 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). Applications for WEF 2024 will close on August 1 and photographers will be notified of their acceptance on August 15.

Annual Series Private Photography Pricing

$3,000/person for the full season
$300/person per week

2024 WEF Private Photography Pricing

$8,000/person for the full 13-week series
$800/person per week

2024 WEF Photography Collective

This program allows credentialed private photographers to showcase their work through WEF’s platforms and publications. Membership opportunities in the WEF Photography Collective will be extended to all accepted private photographers. Participating photographers will receive a 25% discount on their original fee in exchange for the submission of five watermarked photos, video clips or edited reels each week. Images must be submitted each week by Tuesday at 4pm ET. If a participant fails to meet the deadline, credentials will be on hold until submission is completed.

What You Need To Know

• The Wellington International Office of Press & Public Relations will accept 10 professional photographers working as private photographers at WEF during the 2024 season. Each photographer is allowed one second photographer under their business.
  • Priority will be given to applicants who are able to provide additional letters of assignment from established media outlets to broaden the coverage of the horse show.
  • Additional consideration will be given to participants from the 2023 WEF Photography Collective who submitted their required photographs in a timely fashion and contributed high quality imagery.
• The Official photographer has positioning priority outside of the arenas AND during prizegiving presentations.
• Private Photographers are welcome in arenas for prizegiving presentations and parade of champions presentations.
• Credentials will be provided and are required to be worn around the neck at all times while shooting.
• Workspace and equipment lockers will be available in the media center to working photographers. (WEF only)
• Onsite vendor space is not available to private photographers and public points of sale online are prohibited. Business must be conducted directly between photographer and client.

Liability Requirements

All private photographers will be required to indemnify Wellington International and its affiliates for liability, as well as carry and keep liability insurance with combined limits of liability for personal injury (including death) and property damage of $1,000,000 per occurrence. A certificate of insurance with Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC (14440 Pierson Road, Wellington, FL, 33414) named as additionally insured is required from each business and/or individual.
